The website was designed to summarize the benefits of our fantastic club and be your main source for club information and events. We use the app Pickleheads for communication and club events and the website bonitaterrapb.pickleplanner.com for court reservations.

Our club also has a Facebook page for members to join if they are interested. [Bonita Terra Pickleball]

The facebook page is not managed by the club but created by members to share & enjoy social media content, related to pickleball, with all members of the Bonita Terra community. Although you may see club information posted here, you should not rely on this FB page to get your club information.

If you are a Bonita Terra approved owner or renter, joining our club is as easy as 1-2-3

Write your full name, phone number, BT address and email address on an envelope .
Put $20.00 cash (US currency) in the envelope, checks or coin not accepted.
Place the envelope in the dues box located at the pickleball courts.

You will be added to our member list and receive confirmation of your membership within 3 days. Please download the Pickleheads app for current information and club events.

Once you receive your confirmation, CONGRATULATIONS, you are a member of the club!

Club season runs from November 1 to April 30
***Membership deadline is March 1***

Open play - Every day

Everyday from 8:00-11:00 am and 3:00-dusk all 10 courts are available for open play to ALL residents in the Bonita Terra Community. January - April (busy season) Between the hours of 11:00 and 3:00 the Club has the right to reserve courts as needed for club sponsored events and activities. There will be a few occasions when courts will be reserved outside of this time frame for tournaments. If courts are not reserved for club activities or reserved by club members (through bonitaterrapb.pickleplanner.com), they are available for open play. In-house Ladder Leagues

Ladder 3.5+ Fridays at 11:00 - sign up on Pickleheads Ladder 3.0 None for 2026 Ladder 2.0+ Mondays @ 1:00, sign up on Pickleheads You must be a club member to participate. For more information contact: Rick Jaeger 712-253-4024

Travel League

Men's, women's and mixed teams of 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 & 4.0 skill levels are formed and travel to compete with other nearby communities. The deadline to sign up for the 2026 season is December 25, 2025. The travel league starts the first week in January and runs for approximately 12 weeks. If you can't commit to weekly play on a team, consider signing up as a sub. *Tuesdays - Men’s doubles *Wednesday - Women's doubles *Thursday - Mixed doubles Click link below for schedule of HOME matches: Travel to other communities is required and the hosting community picks the time of play. Home matches take place at 11:00 or later. All players must be members of the Bonita Terra Pickleball Club AND be park approved owners/renters. Sign up starts in early to mid December. Sign up to be a member and engage with Pickleheads for up to date information. Not into “Competitive” play? Watch for our in house ladder leagues and scrambles. Court Reservations

From 11:00 to 3:00 (daily) We are using the website bonitaterrapb.pickleplanner.com for reserving courts. This website will accommodate the travel leagues, ladder leagues, team practices/drilling as well as give members the opportunity to reserve courts from 11:00-3:00. The goal during these hours is to keep as many courts as possible, available for reservations. However, there will be times when this is not possible due to tournaments and other activities. Any courts that are not reserved during these hours can be used as open play. You must be a paid club member to join our club on Pickleheads and you must use bonitaterrapb.pickleplanner.com to reserve courts. If you don't reserve a court between 11:00-3:00 you are welcome to play on any unreserved courts.

Dazzleball

When the sun sets, put on your neon clothes and play this fantastic game under the glow of the black lights. Although the rules are the same, it becomes a totally different game in the dark. This event is geared more for the "social" souls with music and an organized party theme. This is scheduled periodically as a "special" event. It is FREE and you must be a club member to participate. 2026 Dazzleball events are January 8th for members and January 9th for all. See the calendar for sign up info

Tournaments

During the season, tournaments are organized using different formats. Tournament formats vary with men's, women's and mixed teams as do the types of play (single elimination, double elimination, round robin, etc.) You must be a club member to participate in the tournaments. 2026 Tournaments include: February Thaw on February 24th CanAm Games on February 28th Spring Fling on March 14th For information or to volunteer contact: Marcia Lee 269-208-9327

Fundraisers & Special Events

In an effort to keep membership dues low, from time to time it is necessary to raise money for club expenses. When the need arises, a fundraising committee (comprised of our club members) will be formed to execute a successful fundraiser. Consider volunteering: we are always looking for extra hands to sell tickets, do check in, 50/50 sales, decorations, general organizing and more. Year-End Banquet

Who doesn't love a party? At the end of the season, a banquet is planned for the club members. It's a chance to eat, dance and enjoy the friendships we have made on the courts during the season.
